Faux by Design proprietor Sue Kelley is a native of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Central Michigan University, and was a musician in the United States Army Field Band for twenty-six years. For a number of years faux painting has been a hobby, and Sue has a certification in faux techniques from the Massachusetts Institute of Surface Design. Her areas of expertise include glazing, plastering and marbling, as well as advice on color and design. She also creates one-of-a-kind finishes on furniture, which can add an exciting dimension to any home or office.
